Overview

Located in the heart of Desa Sri Hartamas at Plaza Prisma Ville, Akshara Palace stands out as a gem for lovers of authentic Indian cuisine in Kuala Lumpur. This restaurant brings a refined blend of North and South Indian flavors, making it a favored destination for both casual diners and families seeking a genuine taste experience away from the usual.

The star attractions here include the Fish Tikka and the famously indulgent Chur Chur Naan. The Fish Tikka arrives perfectly cooked, balancing smoky char with tender flesh, offering a bold introduction to Akshara Palace’s tandoori specialties. Meanwhile, the Chur Chur Naan—soft, layered, and buttery—is a delightful companion to the richly spiced curries or tandoori items, embodying the skill and authenticity that define the kitchen’s craftsmanship.

Akshara Palace's menu embraces a wide range of dishes from hearty mutton rogan josh and prawn tokku to vibrant vegetarian options. This diversity makes it well-suited for groups with varied tastes, as well as those eager to explore traditional recipes rendered with fresh, quality ingredients. The promise of generous portions enhances the value, making it not only satisfying but also a smart choice for those who appreciate substance alongside flavor.

The space itself is clean and inviting, designed to accommodate family dinners or gatherings with friends comfortably. Its welcoming ambiance mirrors the warmth extended by the owners, who are known for their attentive hospitality and commitment to quality. This human touch adds a layer of comfort to the dining experience, especially for patrons who value a personalized approach.

Situated conveniently for residents around Mont Kiara and Desa Sri Hartamas, Akshara Palace fills a niche for quality Indian cuisine in a region that notably lacks such options. The availability of buffet lunch and dinner makes it accessible for different dining preferences, whether one seeks a quick meal or a leisurely feast.

In summary, Akshara Palace offers more than just food—it delivers an authentic Indian culinary journey, blending tradition with thoughtful presentation and a friendly atmosphere. It’s a highly recommended destination for anyone looking to experience the richness of Indian flavors in Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant dining scene.

Akshara Palace is an excellent Indian restaurant and I guess one of the most underrated hidden gems for quality North Indian food in KL. Everytime we had a meal here both veg and non veg curries and tandoori tems have been awesome. The owners are a very nice couple and take pride in not compromising on quality ingredients but the prices are very reasonable as compared to other Indian restaurants. Especially its a boon for Mont Kiara area residents which lacks a decent Indian restaurant

Also serving Chinese cuisine. If you thing you know indian food because you always frequent local mamak, think again. A definate seal of approval from me. Not going to be a last visit for me.
